Nice gif image… Happy Hari Raya also to my Muslim sister.

I just recently learned from a dissertation writing that Hari Raya Puasa is a very important occasion that is celebrated by Muslims all over the world. It is also known as the festival that marks the end of one month of fasting. The words ‘Hari Raya’ mean ‘day of celebration.’

Eid Al-Adha or Hari Raya Haji is more significant, but they are both equally important. If Eid Al-Fitr or Hari Raya is more popular in Malaysia it doesn’t mean that it’s more important, it’s just the way Malaysian cultural development went.

Hari Raya Aidilfitri are celebrated more merrier in most countries but Hari Raya Haji are celebrated more merrier in country like in Mecca..difference is dat Hari Raya Aidilfitri are celebrated by muslims after a month of fasting whilst for Hari Raya Haji are celebrated by those muslims who have already been to prilgrimage (or haj).

I think we Malaysians should not lose focus. We are focusing on petty and irrelevant issues like women’s dressing, there are more pressing issues like crime, corruption, mismanagement of economy & tax payers’ money, an environment that curtail the creativity and opportunity of talented Malaysians etc.

This is the most significant celebration for the Muslims. Muslims starts the day by congregating in the mosques early in the morning to perform Hari Raya Puasa prayers followed by visits to the graves of the departed.
