Yesterday my unique visitors have much increase than the day before.One of my promotion place that I do is promotion at Wangcyber.com forum.Based on my record most of the increasing is because of that forum.I also involve in visiting other blogs and participate in leaving comment on those blogs.

Top Commentators Competition just 2 days to start.At the beginning I decide not to invite any people to become sponsor for this competition.I decide to use my own money for prize of this competition.However if there are people want to become sponsor,you are welcomed to do so.

Focusing on certain niche is main key to success in blogging activities.It mean we choosing a topic that we mostly know about it as our blog topic.It also mean we will discuss on the topic we choose only and avoid from discussing the topic that out of our concept.

How about focusing on niche area?Focusing on niche area mean we choose either local or international market as our targer market.Selecting certain type of market are depend on our blogging objective.This is because some of us just do our blogging activities because of fun,some because of charity,some because of profit and others.

Deciding what market area we want to focus is important because it will determine our direction in blogging activites.Normally we determine it before we built our blog.If thing goes like this means that our blog journey will have clear direction on where our blog will be in 2,3,5 or 10 years time.

The language that we use will show our blog is focus on local or international market is.As blogger if we choose our local language such as France, Spanish,German, Malay, Chinese,India and others it mean we are focusing on local market.At this moment English language is international language,we have to accept it.

How to choose suitable market?

The ability to write in other language is important in deciding which market we should select and focus.If we can write in English language it is encourage you to focusing on international market because the market is more wide and huge.For your information there are no rules that force us to use perfect English language in our blogging activities.

However if you cannot write in English,you are encouraged to focus on local market.Normally when we focus on local market we will use our national language.The advantage of using our national language is we will write well and our article presentation are more understandable by visitors.

We also should consider what opportunities can we see both local and international market.Focusing on local market has big advantage that is we can become leader on certain niche because there is still many empty market space that not yet explored whereas choosing international market as platform has more wider market.It is up to us which market we mostly prefer.

Sometime at the beginning we have decided to focus on certain market area such as local market only.However because of time goes on and many successful achievement we achieved we are so interested to expand our market to more bigger market.All of this things is totally out of our original planning.

However because of encouragement from many people we decide to expand our market to international market.This encouragement include enough resouces to do such thing.Resouces support can be looked from financial aspects,community,demand and many other things.

Ohmynews.com is website about internet journalism.It is created by a former Korea reporter, Oh Yeon Ho at 22 February 2000.The main reason he involve in this type of journalism is because he disappointed with Premier Korea newspaper which conservative and not open.

He started his internet journalism with local version that is Korea version.He has never attention to expand his website market internationally.After facing with many problem and difficulties along with his operation,nowadays Ohmynews has expand his operation globally with international version at http://english.ohmynews.com.

Ohmynews concept is about “Citizen Journalism” and their motto is very unique and different that is “Every Citizen is a Reporter”.Ohmynews give opportunities to all worldwide people to become a journalist even they are don’t know how to write news.This is the main different with other internet newspapers.

Because of enough resources such as enough financial resouces this internet newspaper which previously start local nowadays step proudly to international journalism market.This show even we have setting goal to focus on local market,at the certain time we have to re-analyze and re-create our objectives to suit with our current condition.

Even Ohmynews.com is a website not a blog,we should not necessarily close our eyes to their achievement and the lesson that they bring behind their story.Some of their spirit can be absorbed into our blogging activities. By absorbing their spirit to success,hopefully we can maintain our motivation and passionate in our blogging activities.

One more thing that you should know is about their monthly income from advertising on the website including google adsense income.I don’t have the current monthly income for this website.However according to one magazine that I read their monthly income in 2004 is around USD500,000 permonth.

Focus on what niche we are is necessary…
So, the reader are presented with related info. But this is different from a personal blog like mine. But it still have a focus. A journal of my blogging activity including on how to make a better blog, what to do and not to do while blogging…

And yes, we also need an idol blogger. We need to see how other blog are doing. My idol blogger is Darren Rowse(Bloggers who don’t know about him should bang your head to the wall, ),so we can set our mark line. When we can stand as fair as our idol blogger. That’ll give satisfaction. Now, he have PR6 and I’m 4. He have 50,000++ reader and I’m not come to 100… Still long way to go….

you can start with local or international with your niche. you can start grab some niche product and succeed at international if you want and know what to do with the product niche. you know and you research and grab the opputurnity to have some extra income in your account saving like affiliate clickbank. choose it and grab it an extra income like clicbank ebook tutorial by mawardee.

and he succeed with his own ebooks product’s plus affiliate clickbank.

But clickbank affiliate program is not as easy like most of affiliaters think…

Still it need investment in your time and money to promote those thing…

Ohmynews USD500,000 permonth? thats a lot. wonder CNN got surely millions per month. here i see Ohmynews gives ” opportunities to all worldwide people to become a journalist even they are don’t know how to write news ” so here i see SHARING IS CARING kind of way. a real good strategy.
