Happy Saturday,today Olympic Beijing 2008 is started officially.Another world history has beeen created and many others history will be created by the Olympic athletes.However again as I said before hopefully this Olympic Beijing will not make us lost focus on our blogging activities.

As blogger we are facing with many competitors in our blogging activity.As our blog main theme is about make money online with blog therefore our main competitiors is come from this theme.The number of competitors we are facing now is not same with number of competitors in the future because it will always increase from time to time.

Increasing of number of make money online blog will effect our blog ranking.It may be increase and it may decrease.The question also about how to maintain our current blog position in the future?Is our position will never effect anyway?Hopefully we will alert to all of this thing from time to time.

In order to maintain our position in the future we need to identify what is our blog strengths.Actually,our blog strengths also known as our blog advantages.Identify what is our strength is important in our blogging activities.By idenfity it mean that we will knowing what is our blog condition and position.

Sometime we don’t realize that we have many strengths that we can manipulate and take advantage of it.However it is normal to be like that until somebody tell us about it by leaving comment,survey and others.Beside comment and survey we can also realize our strength by voluntarily ask people and friends directly.

Survey can be made on our blog itself.The simple example is by placing poll in our blog.The question that can be asked for instance is “How good is my site?” or “What is my blog strength?”By placing poll like that it will help us get feedback from perspective of our visitors.

To know what is our blog strength we also can know it by asking our friends opinion directly.You can do it by asking your friends to visit your blog and then ask what is their opinion in our blog.Ask them to give sincere and honest opinion from many aspect even we will get negative opinion from them.

There are two types of strengths that we can identify from our blog.The strength are internal and external strength.Identify both of them will make us knowing where are our position in this blogging activities.Once we know what are our internal and external strength we can take necessary action to enhance our blog performance.

One of the strength that we can identify is internal strength.Internal can be defined as strength that can be found on our blog itself.It sometime easy to identify it and sometime difficult to identify it.It depend on situation.This type of strength sometime need us to ask other people in order to identify it.

Quality article is one of the internal strength that we need to pay attention on it.Quality article normally will satisfy our blog readers need.Sometime we feel our article is quite good but not necessary yes.Therefore to know the current condition of our article we need to ask their opinion either through poll or others.

Other strength that we need to identify is our writing style is interested by ourh readers or not.Every blogger have their own writing style.It depend on the blog theme and the type of readers they want to tackle.By ask our blog readers,we can determine whether our writing style are most accepted or not.

Besides that we also must pay attention on the blog template that we use whether it is liked by our blog readers or not.It include the color of our template,the arrangement of category at sidebar and many other things.Blog template must be choosed properly because it will determine the first impression of visitors.It is not easy to find our favourite template but whether we like it or not we must try to find it and modify it if necessary.

The plug in that we use also must be paid attention by us.From time to time we need to install new plug in in our blog to make our blog more interesting and outstanding.For instance is tell a friend plug in,top commentators plug in,social bookmarking plug in,sezwho plug in and many others.

Plug in is the way us to show to our blog visitors we are serious on our blogging activity.It is also the way to show we are capable in managing our own blog.This is important in attracting people to advertise on our blog in the future.By installing plug in we have increase the confident of visitors to invest in our blog.

Beside internal strengths we also should identify what is our external strengths of our blog.It is important to identify it therefore we can take any necessary action to increase or improve it.External strength can be identify by ourself and most of them no need us to make survey or research deeply.

One of the external strength is our blog ranking on search engine like google and yahoo.Beside ranking on both search engine we also can consider our blog ranking on technorati and alexa as our external strength.Our blog page rank also should be considered as blog strength.

Other strength that we can consider as our external strength or advantage is number of subscribers of our blog article.The more number of subscribers we have the higher external strength we have.In order to make it as a strength of our blog we must try to increase it from time to time.

Identifying our blog strength is a first step in increasing our blog performance.Once we have identify and increase our blog performance it is more easier to attract more visitors to come to our blog.Actually we are not only want to attract visitors to come to our blog but we also want to attract investor to invest on our blog.Therefore if we have high number of subscribers therefore it will more easier to attract investors and as a result our blog income will increase.

How to know your blog’s strength?
I think install a wordpress.com plugin and see what post have the most view. That’s your blog’s strength.

And warning ’bout updating plugin. Please read the change log before updating.

For example, if the plugin update is for the releasing of WprdPress 2.6, you should not update until you update your blog from 2.5.1 into 2.6

But, if we don’t take this step, sometimes our blog will become malfunction.

When that’s happen, we lost our blog’s strength.

I agree on quality article. its the most important and the No 1 reason people come into your blog. Blogger now is hungry on article that can help them solve problems, enriching themselves for any latest info. For me mr amirul blog is well worth visit. So much info and article that can be usefull for bloggers.

2sherry : if u wanted to know your blog strength u can install counter on your blogspot. Then u can analyzed the traffic. Stat counter is the best right now. Then u can use online tools to check your backlinks, PR, and so on.

2titan : I agree with your statement. But sometimes the blog owner doesn’t know how to check their blog strength or even dont know what is their blog weakness. So maybe do lots more research or ask the experts like mr amirul.

Stat counter free only records the first 500 unique visitor. After that…

My only weaknesses is I don’t know how to really expose my blog effectively. Talking ’bout blog exposure, where’s your blog Faizal?

so its okay rite. u just remembered the counter and when it adds its value u can see it rite. statcounter is the top counter my blog? not yet having a blog. need to learn some more. so coming to Mr amirul’s blog is the 1st step to learn bout making a blog, making money online and so on.

It have the site overlay statistic which shoes which part of your website being clicked.

Just go to Google Analytic.

u need free counter? there are counter that needs to register and some do not need to register. so u prefer which one? register or not all is free..

I’ve removed mine.
A, shoutbox also can be use as a notice board…
Here’s the idea…
Paste it in notepad and save as .html.
Then paste only the message part, remove the input form at your blog.
Then if you want to post message, just open the .html file in your brwoser…
I use this way at my blogspot blog WGN_WHITE if you notice it…

if for me i still prefer shoutbox. its a really easy way to get our notice or any message to the blog owner. sometimes they miss out on our comments so shoutbox is the good and easier way to convey the message.
