Good morning.How are you today?My subcription feeds increase drastically since the Top Commentators Competition held in my blog this month.Compared to before competition honestly say that this competition has help increase my blog subscription.I hope to those who still not joint this competition,you can still joint now and this competition is held for one month.
Organise competition in our blog is a strategy.Yeah it is a strategy.It is a strategy that can be implemented by anybody.The objective of doing it is depend on the owner of the blog.As blogger, it is good to organise competition on our blog.It can be as part of our blog activities and it can make our blog more interesting.
Blog is like an association.Normally association will facing with financial problem.Because of that they cannot run their activity successfully.Therefore they need to organize some event that can help them to generate some sources of fund.So that to blog.We need to organize something that can help us increase our sources of fund.
For example Darren (Problogger.net) had organized a competition which need their visitors to give a reason why they should be given his ebook.The most reasonable answer will be selected as the of this competition.I also had made announcement about this competition in my blog.You can see here.
For your information I also joint the competition.I give the most powerful reason with by saying that he is my blogger Idol.Unfortunately I fail the competition.Nevermind because actually I just try my luck and just want to enjoy to the competition.In my opinion he did the competition because of two reasons:
First reason is to maintain his blog popularity at the eyes of visitors.By doing such competition he can keep in touch with their visitors.It is good to do like that because it can make he more near with his visitors.
Second reason is as his gift to his visitors that always come and support him.I think that is the way he show his thanks and appreciation to his visitors.This is good to appreciate our visitors because without visitors we cannot achieve our blogging target.
For senior blogger the reason many of them do any competition in their blog is to maintain and appreciate their visitors.It is not about money anymore because to them money is not a problem anymore.It is a time they getting to know well their visitors in order to maintain their status.
For new blogger normally the reason making any competition on their blog is to introduce their blog to public.By having such blog event like that people will be more interested to come to our blog.Any competition that we make will make them come and come again during the competition time.
When we organize some competition on our blog,we need to make promotion and advertising about it in other blog.By doing promotion mean that we are telling public that we have something to give to them.Organising competition like that will make easy to attract them to come to our blog.
There are two types of promotion that you can make to tell people we will making a competition in our blog.First type of promotion is free advertising on any advertising site.Even we have to compete with many others ads but we have accept because it is open free for any people.
Beside that we can also advertise our competition using paid advertising service.But it is depend on our budget.If we have extra budget why not we use it for promoting our competition.Promoting our competition mean we are promoting our blog.We will get the benefit in the future.Believe me.
We also can make announcement in forum in internet.Forum is a place where many people gathering to form a community.By make announcement here we can easier get many people to come to our blog.Those who click on our link in that forum they are people who interested with competition like this.
By having competition in our blog,it is a smart strategy to make people more interested to come to our blog.When they joint the competition in our blog they need to stay longer on our blog.Therefore eventually they will realize that our blog have many useful information that they can use as a guindance.

yap. Its really smart strategy. Its also good to sell yourself and your blog. people will know more about you if you did some great competition or contest.
